Build single or double cell car, which has four options for front assembly and six options for gear transmission. Use a tetra pack carton for car body shell. Design/build wheels and body shells. Transform car into a gearbox solar boat. Virtual car assembly.
Regulations, curriculum based guides and worksheets to assist to create outdoor solar challenge activities for students to be challenged to construct the most clever and fast car. The resources encourage students to consider for themselves how to design and assemble the car for a rich and fun STEM experience.
